V Rising modded hosting — BepInEx / Thunderstore for a friends squad (2026)

This page is for modded V Rising — BepInEx stacks, Thunderstore packages, denser castle/territory loads, and matching client+server mods for a Discord squad — not a quiet vanilla PvE castle wipe for 4–8 friends. It is not the same job as Night 14 V Rising (friend vanilla / light mods first), Night 2 Valheim modded vs vanilla (also BepInEx / Thunderstore, different game), Night 70 Rust modded (Oxide / uMod), or Night 15 Enshrouded. Among our six hosts (checked 24 Oct 2026, NZDT): Shockbyte, Apex, BisectHosting, Nodecraft, and GameTeam sell V Rising (product URLs returned 200). PebbleHost returned 404 on V Rising product paths and V Rising is absent from its catalog we read — curl HEAD 403 is not absence; we used full GET. BepInEx / Thunderstore / one-click installer claims below come only from each host’s own V Rising product copy or FAQ — we do not invent a BepInEx one-click claim where the listing never prints it.

RAM honesty: modded vs friend-vanilla

  • Friend vanilla / light mods (Night 14 job): hosts often card around 4 GB for a small Discord (Apex labels 4 GB “Minimum for V Rising”; Nodecraft Premium 4 GB “Best for Vanilla”). Shockbyte sells by player count (8 / 20 / 50) and does not print RAM on the V Rising landing.
  • BepInEx / Thunderstore stacks + denser castles (this page): treat 6–10 GB+ as the working floor when gameplay-affecting mods + castle/territory growth pile up. GameTeam FAQ prints 6–10 GB (castle count and territory size as main drivers). Apex cards 8 GB “Advanced servers & all modpacks”; Nodecraft Premium 6 GB / 8 GB for denser groups (no “Best for Modded” label on the V Rising page we read). Do not reuse Valheim Thunderstore or Rust Oxide RAM tables — different products.
  • Slots ≠ RAM: Shockbyte 8 / 20 / 50 players and GameTeam “unlimited slots” are ceilings. Castle count, territory size, and mod entity load hurt more than the marketing slot number — pay for GB and a documented mod path.
  • Client + server: BepInEx / Thunderstore packs usually need matching client installs. Host panel tooling only helps the dedicated side — confirm the mod author’s install notes before wipe night. PvE vs PvP and daylight/loot settings are separate from the mod stack.

BepInEx / Thunderstore — host claims only

  • Shockbyte: Product copy: customize PvP/PvE and “even install mods”; features list Full File Access; FAQ “Do you support mods and plugins?” answers that almost all games/plans support mods, modpacks and plugins (Steam Workshop / CurseForge / Modrinth named network-wide). BepInEx / Thunderstore / one-click installer are not named on the V Rising product copy we read — do not invent a BepInEx one-click claim.
  • Apex Hosting: V Rising landing markets panel ability to “install mods”, change the map, FTP, automatic backups; plan blurbs say “Basic servers & some modpacks” (4 GB) / “Advanced servers & all modpacks” (8 GB / 16 GB EX). BepInEx / Thunderstore / one-click are not named on the V Rising product copy we read (TBD in panel/docs) — do not invent a BepInEx one-click claim.
  • BisectHosting: Landing claims Fully Integrated BepInEx Installer, Full Mod Support, VOIP, 3-day free backups, PC and PlayStation listed. Exact $/GB plan total did not render as a clear number on the page we read (TBD at checkout); BisectOne llms.txt cites ~$2.99/GB network-wide — not a V Rising–specific printed plan total. Clearest named BepInEx installer story among our six.
  • Nodecraft: Markets panel ability to “easily create modded servers”, SFTP / integrated file manager, game-swap. Premium cards: 4 GB “Best for Vanilla” / 6 GB “Best Premium Value” / 8 GB “Best for Large Groups”. Lite / Wake & Play is labeled “Not recommended for this game” — use Premium 24/7 for persistence. BepInEx / Thunderstore are not named on the V Rising copy we read.
  • GameTeam: FAQ: “Can I install mods when hosting V Rising? Yes, through BepInEx and Thunderstore packages. Server and clients need matching versions for anything gameplay-affecting.” RAM FAQ: 6–10 GB. Settings via ServerHostSettings.json / ServerGameSettings.json in the panel file manager. No one-click BepInEx installer claimed on the page we read — FAQ path is the honest claim.
  • PebbleHost: V Rising product URLs we tried returned 404; V Rising absent from catalog paths we read (24 Oct 2026). No sellable V Rising SKU to quote for mods or price — 404, not invented TBD pricing.

V Rising mods are not Minecraft “one-click modpacks” unless the host literally prints a BepInEx installer claim (Bisect does). Backup first, match client + server versions, and expect Thunderstore / BepInEx version pins to break on game patches.

Comparison: modded V Rising plans

Price sources: every figure below comes from the host’s own V Rising product / pricing page (checked 24 Oct 2026, NZDT). Recurring monthly preferred; first-month sales disclosed where shown. 404 when the product URL returned not found. TBD when a sellable host had no clear plan total or BepInEx claim. Product URLs that sell returned 200 — curl HEAD 403 is not absence; we used full GET. Confirm at checkout — stock and location change.

Oceania / AU–NZ–SG latency wedge

  • Nodecraft: Sydney / Melbourne / Auckland / Singapore listed on the V Rising page — best published Oceania/SEA story; Premium 24/7 for persistence; confirm V Rising capacity on order.
  • Shockbyte: Melbourne-based + V Rising product page with Global Locations — still pick the node on order and ping-test with the mod list loaded (PvP dodge windows hurt above ~120 ms).
  • Apex: EX Series APAC/AU Ryzen 5800X marketed — confirm Sydney (or closest) for standard tiers at checkout.
  • BisectHosting: Australia exists network-wide (BisectOne / llms.txt) — stock/waitlist has appeared; treat as a checkout checkbox.
  • GameTeam: Oceania for V Rising not named on the page we read — TBD.
  • PebbleHost: no V Rising SKU — Oceania notes do not transfer.

Buy monthly through the first week with your BepInEx / Thunderstore list loaded, measure everyone’s ping (especially PvP), then commit. See the Oceania ping guide.

  • Want AU/NZ/SG nodes + modded-server panel / SFTP: Nodecraft Premium 6–8 GB ($29.98 / $39.98) — skip Lite / Wake & Play for V Rising persistence; BepInEx not named on landing.
  • Budget FAQ that names BepInEx + Thunderstore: GameTeam at 6–10 GB — ping-test if Oceania matters.
  • Fixed tiers + “install mods” + file access: Shockbyte Chaos Archer 20p ($18.99) or Bandit King 50p ($35.99) — confirm AU node and BepInEx path at checkout.
  • Stated RAM ladder + “all modpacks” card: Apex 8 GB ($27.99) or EX 16 GB ($71.99 APAC 5800X) — BepInEx path TBD in panel/docs.
  • PebbleHost: honest 404 for V Rising today — do not force a cart.
  • Quiet vanilla / light-mod friend castle instead: see Night 14 — different job, often Shockbyte Alpha Wolf 8p ($10.99) or Apex/Nodecraft 4 GB.
