Rust modded hosting — Oxide / uMod / plugins for a friend group (2026)
This page is for modded Rust — Oxide / uMod / Carbon plugin stacks (kits, TPs, clans, gather rates, economics), not a quiet vanilla-ish wipe. It is not the same job as Night 4 Rust friend wipe (small Discord, light Oxide optional, wipe-cycle focus), Night 8 Minecraft modpacks (ATM/RLCraft JVM packs), Night 2 Valheim modded vs vanilla (BepInEx / Thunderstore), or Night 23 DayZ (DZSA / Expansion — different engine and host SKUs). Among our six hosts, five sell Rust today with host-owned plan totals; GameTeam’s dedicated Rust URLs returned 404 and Rust was absent from the all-games catalog we read. Oxide / wipe / plugin claims below come only from each host’s own Rust product copy.
RAM honesty: modded vs friend-vanilla
- Friend vanilla / light Oxide (Night 4 job): hosts often card 8–10 GB (Shockbyte Wood 8 GB / Fuel 10 GB; PebbleHost 50-slot 8 GB). Fine for a small procedural map and a short plugin list.
- Modded Oxide / uMod stacks (this page): treat 10–12 GB+ as the working floor when kits, TPs, clans, economics and custom maps pile up. Shockbyte’s Metal card prints 12 GB+; Apex labels 10 GB “advanced servers & all modpacks”; Nodecraft Premium opens at 10 GB (“Great for Small Worlds”) and lists 12 / 16 GB cards. Do not reuse Minecraft modpack or Valheim BepInEx RAM tables — different products.
- Slots ≠ RAM: 75 / 125 “slot” marketing is for public browsers. Your Discord size still filters; pay for GB and plugin tooling, not the biggest slot number on the card.
- Wipe + plugins: force-wipe Tuesday plus a heavy Oxide list spikes CPU and entity load. Auto-wipe and one-click Oxide only count when the host’s Rust page actually claims them — see the Oxide section.
Oxide / uMod / Carbon — host claims only
- Shockbyte: Rust page claims Auto-Install Oxide, full Oxide and uMod plugin support, auto-wipe support, Rust+, custom maps, staging branch.
- BisectHosting: Rust page claims Integrated Oxide & Carbon, Rust+ mobile app, beta branch, 3-day backups. Wipe scheduler not highlighted on the landing we read (TBD in panel).
- PebbleHost: Rust FAQ claims a built-in mod-installer to one-click install Oxide plugins; product cards list slots/RAM. Wipe scheduler TBD on the product page.
- Apex Hosting: Rust landing markets panel “install mods,” maps and settings; recurring RAM tiers print clearly. A dedicated Oxide/uMod how-to URL we tried returned 403 — treat one-click Oxide as TBD on the Rust landing (confirm in panel/docs before wipe night).
- Nodecraft: Rust Premium page emphasises panel, SFTP, automated tasks, game swap; Oxide / uMod one-click and auto-wipe are not spelled out on the Rust landing excerpt we captured (TBD in panel/docs).
- GameTeam: no dedicated Rust product page found (URLs 404; Rust absent from all-games catalog) — Oxide / wipe claims TBD.
Plugin packs are not Minecraft “one-click modpacks.” Confirm the host’s Oxide/Carbon installer, then add plugins deliberately — a runaway hook list will tank wipe-day FPS even on 12 GB.
Comparison: modded Rust (Oxide / uMod) plans
Price sources: every figure below comes from the host’s own Rust product / pricing page (checked 24 Oct 2026, NZDT). Recurring monthly preferred; first-month sales disclosed where shown. TBD / 404 when the host page had no clear plan total, Oxide claim, or the URL failed. Confirm at checkout — stock and location change.
| Host | Modded-oriented plan | RAM / slots (printed) | Oxide / wipe (host claims) | Oceania / ping | Approx. monthly (USD) | Best for this job |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shockbyte AU brand | Fuel · 75 players · 10 GB Wood 40p/8 GB · Metal 125+/12 GB+ |
8 / 10 / 12 GB+ tier cards Metal matches Facepunch’s ~12 GB ballpark for heavier maps |
Auto-Install Oxide · uMod · full mod support · auto-wipe · Rust+ · custom maps · staging · “official partnered host” claim on page | Melbourne company; AU marketing URL exists — confirm Rust node on order (Singapore also appears in third-party location lists; verify live). |
List recurring: $14.99 / $24.99 / $40.00 Wood / Fuel / Metal. Longer terms often discount — confirm cart. |
Clearest Oxide + auto-wipe story for a modded friend wipe; start Fuel, step to Metal when plugins/map grow. |

Recurring: $14.99 / $18.75 / $35.00 4 / 5 / 10 GB — often 25% off first month (~$11.24 / $14.06 / $26.25). EX 16 GB recurring $71.99 (first ~$53.99). |
Pay for 10 GB+ when the plugin list is real; EX if wipe-day CPU is the bottleneck. Verify Oxide install path before force wipe. |

Budget Oxide if NA/EU ping is fine; Oceania squads must verify location before paying. Prefer 10–12 GB for plugin stacks. |

Oceania / AU–NZ–SG latency wedge
- Nodecraft: Sydney / Melbourne / Singapore commonly listed — best published Oceania/SEA story; confirm Rust capacity and that Oxide tools exist in your panel.
- Shockbyte: Melbourne-based + Rust product page — still pick the node on order and ping-test on wipe night.
- BisectHosting: Australia in the 21-location set; stock/waitlist risk is real.
- Apex: APAC/AU EX hardware called out; standard Rust region confirm at checkout.
- PebbleHost / GameTeam: Oceania for Rust not evidenced on pages we read — TBD.
Buy monthly through the first force wipe with your plugin list loaded, measure everyone’s ping, then commit.
Practical shortlist (not rankings)
- Want auto-wipe + Auto-Install Oxide: Shockbyte Fuel ($24.99 / 10 GB) — Metal ($40 / 12 GB+) when the plugin/map load grows.
- Oxide + Carbon on one panel: BisectHosting BisectOne at 10–12 GB if Australia (or your region) is in stock.
- Budget one-click Oxide, NA/EU OK: PebbleHost 75-slot / 10 GB ($19.99) — reconcile product vs billing price; skip if you need proven AU ping.
- AU/NZ ping first, accept higher bill: Nodecraft Premium 12 GB in Sydney/Melbourne — verify Oxide install path in panel (not printed on landing).
- Wipe-day CPU / heavy plugin hooks: Apex 10 GB or EX 16 GB — confirm Oxide tooling before wipe Tuesday.
- Quiet vanilla-ish friend wipe instead: see Night 4 — different job, often a lower tier.
- GameTeam: wait for a real Rust landing — features currently 404 / TBD.
