Palworld modded hosting — UE4SS / Workshop / custom maps for a friends squad (2026)

This page is for modded Palworld — UE4SS / .pak stacks, Steam Workshop collections where a host documents them, custom maps, and aggressive server-setting tweaks for a Discord ranch — not a quiet vanilla friend world. It is not the same job as Night 3 Palworld friend server (4–8 friends, RAM/Oceania first, mods optional), Night 2 Valheim modded vs vanilla (BepInEx / Thunderstore), Night 70 Rust modded (Oxide / uMod / Carbon), or Night 11 ARK:ASA (different engine and host SKUs). Among our six hosts, all six sell Palworld today (product URLs returned 200 on 24 Oct 2026, NZDT). Mod-installer claims below come only from each host’s own Palworld product copy, FAQ, or knowledge-base — we do not invent one-click paths.

RAM honesty: modded vs friend-vanilla

  • Friend vanilla / light settings (Night 3 job): hosts often card 6–8 GB (Shockbyte Lamball 6 GB / Grizzbolt 8 GB; Nodecraft Premium 6–8 GB; PebbleHost flat from 8 GB). Fine for a small Discord ranch with few bases.
  • Modded UE4SS / Workshop stacks (this page): treat 8–16 GB+ as the working floor when QoL packs, PalSchema deps, custom maps and dense bases pile up. GameTeam’s FAQ prints 8–16 GB as Palworld rises with bases + Pals; Apex EX cards 16 GB; Bisect/GameTeam ~/GB let you dial toward that. Do not reuse Rust Oxide or Valheim BepInEx RAM tables — different products.
  • Slots ≠ RAM: 10 / 20 / 32 “slot” marketing is a ceiling. Your Discord size still filters; pay for GB and a documented mod path, not the biggest slot number on the card.
  • Client + server: many Palworld mods need matching client installs. Host one-click / UE4SS tooling only helps the dedicated side — confirm the mod page before wipe night.

UE4SS / Workshop / settings — host claims only

  • Nodecraft: Palworld product marketing claims a UE4SS modded build, Steam Workshop collection one-click, and swap between vanilla and modded builds; KB article installing-palworld-mods documents Workshop collection install + manual UE4SS upload via Files/SFTP. Crossplay toggle (PC / Xbox / PS5 / Mac) claimed on product copy.
  • GameTeam: FAQ claims a dedicated “Palworld UE4SS” option (Windows build under Wine); switch via Change Game, then .pak + UE4SS Lua mods; Tools page installs them. Linux dedicated build “cannot load them at all” per FAQ.
  • Apex Hosting: RAM cards label 5 GB “some modpacks” / 10 GB “all modpacks”; panel copy markets install mods / maps / settings; live guide documents UE4SS + .pak via FTP. FAQ schema still answers “Can I install mods?” with No — Steam Workshop planned — treat as a conflict; confirm the panel path before promising the squad.
  • BisectHosting: Palworld meta/landing markets mod support, free backups, crossplay, up to 32 players, 21 locations. Starbase “install mods” is general panel language (llms.txt) — Palworld-specific UE4SS/Workshop one-click not spelled out on the excerpt we captured (TBD in panel/docs).
  • Shockbyte: Palworld landing claims fully configurable settings, sFTP, auto backups, scheduled restarts — mods / UE4SS / Workshop not spelled out on the product page (TBD in panel/docs). “Available On Steam / Xbox” is platform availability, not a crossplay guarantee.
  • PebbleHost: FAQ claims Epic crossplay enabled by default; marketing copy says you can “install mods easily” + configuration editor / FTP — no UE4SS or Workshop installer named on the Palworld pages we read (TBD path).

Palworld modding is not Minecraft “one-click modpacks.” Backup first, match UE4SS/PalSchema deps, and expect client-side installs for many Workshop mods.

Comparison: modded Palworld plans

Price sources: every figure below comes from the host’s own Palworld product / pricing page (checked 24 Oct 2026, NZDT). Recurring monthly preferred; first-month sales disclosed where shown. TBD when the host page had no clear plan total or mod-install claim. All six product URLs returned 200 (SELL) — curl HEAD 403 is not absence; we used full GET. Confirm at checkout — stock and location change.

Oceania / AU–NZ–SG latency wedge

  • Nodecraft: Sydney / Melbourne / Singapore commonly listed — best published Oceania/SEA story with a documented mod path; confirm Palworld capacity on order.
  • Shockbyte: Melbourne-based + Palworld product page — still pick the node on order and ping-test with mods loaded.
  • BisectHosting: Australia in the 21-location set; stock/waitlist risk is real.
  • Apex: APAC/AU EX hardware called out; standard Palworld region confirm at checkout.
  • PebbleHost / GameTeam: Oceania for Palworld not evidenced on pages we read — TBD.

Buy monthly through the first week with your mod list loaded, measure everyone’s ping, then commit.

Practical shortlist (not rankings)

  • Want documented UE4SS + Workshop one-click + AU/SG nodes: Nodecraft Premium 6–8 GB+ — confirm 8 GB Premium recurring at checkout.
  • Budget UE4SS path on paper: GameTeam Palworld UE4SS option at 8–16 GB — ping-test if Oceania matters.
  • ~16 GB headroom + APAC EX hardware: Apex EX 16 GB — reconcile FAQ “No mods” vs live UE4SS guide before launch.
  • Dial GB + AU checkbox: BisectHosting BisectOne at 10–16 GB if Australia (or your region) is in stock; confirm mod tooling in Starbase.
  • Settings/sFTP only, AU brand: Shockbyte Grizzbolt/Jetragon — treat UE4SS as TBD until panel proves it.
  • Flat $10 + scalable RAM, NA/EU: PebbleHost — Epic crossplay yes; named UE4SS installer TBD; skip for Oceania-first groups.
  • Quiet vanilla-ish friend ranch instead: see Night 3 — different job, often a lower tier.
