Risk of Rain 2 friend-server hosting — a dedicated lobby for your squad
You want a RoR2 lobby that doesn't depend on one friend's PC and connection, ideally with a shared BepInEx/Thunderstore mod pack. This page is not the same as the Risk of Rain 2 overview. It covers the small-group setup.
The job: 2–4 friends, same mods, low ping
- Players: vanilla RoR2 is 4 players; cap-raising mods exist but every client must match.
- Mods: agree a Thunderstore profile and export it so everyone's client matches the server.
- Ping: runs are short and twitchy, so node location matters more than RAM.
