Icarus friend-server hosting — a private prospect for a small group
You want a persistent Icarus outpost your mates can drop into without the host being online: 2–8 prospectors, a password, and a world that persists. This page is not the same as the Icarus overview. It covers the small-group, mostly-vanilla setup.
The job: private, small, always on
- Players: 2–8 friends. Icarus dedicated servers are RAM-hungry; Nodecraft lists 8 GB as best for vanilla.
- Mods: see mods & plugins by host.
- Persistence: back up the prospect/outpost saves before game updates.

Oceania notes
Server region sets everyone’s delay in combat and building. Check for a Sydney node before paying. See the Oceania ping guide.

We only list prices the host prints clearly. Nothing here is invented. For cheaper all-round options, see budget under ~$20.
