ATLAS dedicated hosting for a small friend group (2026)
ATLAS is Grapeshot Games’ sailing / pirate survival MMO — ships, company claims, treasure and island grids on the high seas — not the same product page as ARK: ASA, SCUM, Raft, or DayZ (different engines, host SKUs, grid architecture, and RAM floors). Among our six hosts, none had a sellable ATLAS product page today: Shockbyte, Apex Hosting, Nodecraft, GameTeam, BisectHosting and PebbleHost ATLAS page URLs we tried returned 404 (absent from the catalogs we read). Prices below stay TBD until a host publishes a host-owned ATLAS plan total. Confirm availability and the bill at checkout if a catalog adds it.
RAM, slots, grids and mods
- Friend-group fit: ATLAS private worlds are built from grid cells (one process / rented instance per cell on hosts that sell it). A passworded company often starts on a small grid (for example 1×1 or 2×2) rather than a public mega-map. You do not need a 15-slave 4×4 for a friend company — but every extra cell multiplies cost and RAM. Confirm grid size and travel linking with the host if they add ATLAS.
- RAM honesty (often high — host claims only): None of Shockbyte, Apex, Nodecraft, GameTeam, Bisect or PebbleHost published an ATLAS GB floor on a sellable page today. Where other ATLAS hosts publish plans (outside this six-host set), entry cells are routinely pitched with high RAM and dedicated cores because each cell is an Unreal-class survival instance. Treat “often high” as a planning warning, not a price quote — do not reuse ARK ASA, SCUM, Raft or DayZ RAM tables.
- Mods / Workshop (host claims only): No host in this six-host set claimed Steam Workshop one-click, Beyond-API, or ATLAS mod installers on a page we could read (all 404). When a host adds ATLAS, only trust mod / file claims printed on that product page. See Night 6.
Comparison: ATLAS plans
Price sources: every price would come from the host’s own ATLAS page (checked 24 Oct 2026, NZDT). No third-party or search-summary prices are used. Recurring monthly figures are preferred over first-month sale teasers (sales disclosed where shown). TBD means the host page showed no clear plan total, Coming Soon / waitlist, or the page URLs we tried returned 404. Confirm at checkout.

Oceania note
ATLAS ship combat and grid travel still punish long routes when several cells sync. AU/NZ groups should prefer a host that lists an AU / Oceania node on an ATLAS product page — none of our six did today. - RAM / grid planning: budget for high RAM per cell and multiply by grid size (1×1 vs 2×2 vs larger). A friend company usually starts small; public mega-grids are a different spend class.
- Mods honesty: no Workshop / Beyond-API claim from these six (pages absent). Do not assume ARK or SCUM mod tooling applies.
- If you need ATLAS online tonight: look outside this six-host set for a host that prints an ATLAS plan total, then re-check this page later when Shockbyte / Apex / Nodecraft / GameTeam / Bisect / PebbleHost add a catalog row.
