Squad friend-server hosting — a private Squad server for your milsim crew
You want a private Squad server where your clan can train, run seeding nights and load Workshop mods without public-server randoms. This page is not the same as the Squad overview. It covers the small-group setup.
The job: a clan night, Workshop mods, low ping
- Players: Squad scales to 100 slots, but a friend clan often runs 20–50; slot count drives RAM and CPU.
- Addons: Workshop mods (layers, maps, factions) need a host with mod/file access. Each host's mod support is listed on its own page.
- Ping: Squad is CPU-heavy at high player counts; node location still matters most for hit-reg.
