Barotrauma friend-server hosting — a private sub for your crew
You want a passworded Barotrauma campaign for your mates that keeps running between sessions, so nobody has to leave their PC on as host. This page is not the same as the Barotrauma overview. It covers the small-crew setup.
The job: private, small, always on
- Players: a crew of 2–16 friends. Barotrauma supports up to 16 players.
- Settings: set a server password, choose campaign or mission mode, and agree on Workshop mods before the first dive.
- Persistence: back up the campaign save before game updates and before mod changes.

Oceania notes
Barotrauma syncs a lot of physics and creature data, so a nearby node helps. Confirm the node with Shockbyte, Bisect and GameTeam before you pay. See the Oceania ping guide.
Price honesty
We only list prices the host prints clearly. Nothing here is invented. For a 2–8 person crew, Shockbyte Security or Engineer sits well under the budget under ~$20 line.
